Zombie Horror Camp

Foreshadowing the UEFA Champions League Final, Hamish Jenkinson as Director of the Old Vic Tunnels invited the Pandemonium Drummers for two days of performances at the Zombie Horror Camp, an immersive entertainment event around Halloween.

Turning up in the 18th century Olympic Opening Ceremony outfits, we drummers only needed a little touch up to fit in with the Zombie theme. And we were lucky to get assistance from professional make-up artists in the backstage area to go way beyond fitting in and become a pretty convincing group of recently deceased un-deads. 

While I applied most of the make-up myself, the professionals ensured a convincing touch-up suitable for movies and theatre. Janky and uncoordinated movements were simple enough to slip fully into the zombie role, although it was hard to stay in character at the bar post performance.
